Scootaloo Halloween Costume

Now for sale!!!  This Scootaloo top--that has all the details of mane, tail, wings, and ears sewn on--and thigh-high tights (both are approximate size US small-medium) could be yours!  They are clean, and nearly new, as I only wore them the once for this party...  I'm asking $25 for the set (again, just the hooded top and the thigh-high striped tights) plus shipping.  Note me if you're interested!


So this year's halloween party was themed. (We only mildly did a themed party once before, and that was only because I was going as a murloc, my man as an owlbear, and as a death knight's ghoul.) This year's theme was My Little Pony, with everyone supposed to dress up like their favorite pony. As you can see, my favorite is Scootaloo. That might be because I had a pink/orangey-glitter alicorn MLP toy from the 90's... anywho, I brought unicorn poop cookies and rainbow popcorn, both of which were delicious!

Anywho, this costume is made up of pink/yellow thigh high tights I bought online, magenta booty shorts I got on sale, and a fully custom made hoodie by me. I didn't have a pattern to work from, just some old hoodies to look at. The orange is all double knit, so it catches and pulls crazy bad, but the color is near perfect. I make sacrifices. The mane and tail are from magenta fleece, which is what I originally wanted to use for all of it. Oh well, overall I'd still say it was a success! I love the little wings so much...

I would have loved to top the outfit off with a pair of white roller skates from the 80's, but I'd have killed myself for sure.
